SO we've all had time to digest the Rihanna and drakes raunchy new number!
Finally what we've all been waiting for... new material from the good girl gone bad and lawd she's bad now!
From as early as January social media dropped hints of a new video and was officially confirmed when drake and Rihanna were spotted shooting scenes in Toronto.
For moi it began when I received a text from a friend, urging me to check out RiRis new video #Hotunderthecollar....
In anticipation I savored a quiet moment at work... plugged in my head phones in to the PC and was ready to roll. Only to be stopped hot in my tracks, not by my boss but YOUTUBE! warning me of the explicit content I was about to witness. Only adding to the sheer excitement.
Filmed by Director X, (who also shot sean paul's "get busy") in Toronto's Caribbean restaurant / turned night club " The Real Jerk". Set the scene perfectly with dimmed lights, vivid colours, and clips of Rihanna treating us all to a good old whine amongst a squad of dancehall queens.
I must say even though I'm felling the song some part I genuinely had no idea what riri was saying and sure she was just mumbling on the track because she can.
We were lucky enough to get a 2 part video; Part 1 shared a fun Caribbean theme of red yellow and green, nicely accessorized with Rihanna's coordinated string vest and green lipstick ( which I naively thought was only for Halloween, but have to say Rihanna owned it!)

But that was only a teaser of what was to come!!!!
The video cuts!...and starts again? ( which saved me from having to press repeat anyways) only this time real simple and intimate set in a pink lite room,Rihanna, Drake, soft furnishings and low lights. During which Drake with his bearded face is happily entertained whilst Rihanna spoils him to a cheeky private dance. It's been almost 6 years since there last collaboration and they've never looked closer!

Its well known that Rihanna's a strong advocate for "free the nipple" and can only assume the lack of clothing in part two was in a jest of reinforcing her campaign and not just another Hollywood ploy to use sex as a selling tool.

"Work's" video certainly wasn't a PG rating nor particularly suitable riris younger fans but all in all work.... WORKS!!!
Its catchy has a good beat and one for the twerk playlist.
Currently at number one on the billboard and predicted to remain their for a second consecutive week.
The first live performance premiered at the Brit awards 2016.

On queue like a jump rope Drake actually hops on the batty
warning: Juicy content through out the video
