Ok so honestly like I jus- I just like ...Where do I even begin?! Do we talk about the fact that it was bigger than a Mayweather boxing match? Do we analyse the Kardashians’ clothing? Are we going to pretend that Kanye wasn't walking with Lamar Odom, or the fact that KHLOE was with Lamar Odom?! We can't ignore the fact that Frank Ocean has resurrected himself and we are MOST DEFINITELY NOT going to ignore the fact that Kanye just casually dropped a line in his song discussing ROB KARDASHIAN AND BLAC CHYNA ... *Pauses to catch breath!* as I'm writing this I can see this is going to be a monster blog so I will break it into sub headings!
Ok let's start with the fashion show itself!
FASHION SHOW
The world tuned in last night on Tidal to watch the Livestream of the Yeezus Fashion Show as part of New York fashion week ... The rapper turned fashion designer hosted an exclusive event to showcase his latest line of clothing and footwear for the world to see. The event was flooded with A List celebrities all sporting Kanye’s clothing and other designer labels ... The fashion show was so exclusive I'm pretty sure if your net worth doubled by the end of the night!
MODELS
The models were seen in clothing that could be described as edgy, Urban and dare I say it homeless chic (credit Bri for that one)..... However instead of walking down a traditional runway and striking a pose at the end, they stood, sat or Knelt down over a stage as a mass group only moving to adjust slightly if they needed too. This meant that the thousands gathered around them could really take in every detail of clothing and for us at home the cameras slowly panned right to left up and down on the models. We got to look in such detail we were able to see one of the models weeping a stream of tears down his face. My guess is he was so blown away by the fact he had been hand selected by Yeezus himself -I could only imagine how amazing that would have felt. Which brings me on to my next thought ...
KANYE
"I just want to make the world as beautiful as possible" Kanye west exclaimed when talking into the mic. As much as he has his temper tantrums in public and rants on Twitter before getting his facts Straight I cannot help but Love this man! You see how passionate he is with everything he does and it is so Inspirational to watch... He is changing the game with his artistic ways and putting people such as skepta on the map for the rest of the world to view and support. He is constantly mixing urban culture with high fashion and bringing a generation of people with him! Making his sell out footwear "yeezy's" available for the average person to buy is one of his main goals, he eventually wants the everyday person to be able to buy his products without breaking the bank. This alone is unusual - we are so used to everybody wanting to sell high end products and making their attire so expensive that the rest of us could only dream of buying (unless we took out a loan of course ha!) Kanye has throughout the entire process expressed to us this is his goal and last night revealed that addias has agreed to lower the prices and make it become possible sooner then we may think! (Kanye I'm a UK size 4 save me some).
VIDEO GAME -MUMMY YEEZY
Another pinnacle moment throughout the show was his new game he will be releasing! Kanye explained the game is about getting his late mother, Donda West, through the gates of heaven. The 38 year old rapper discussed the struggles he faced when trying to create this game saying "I would go to people and they would tell me fuck off that's a stupid idea" - well first of all I feel like no one in their right minds would tell KANYE WEST to fuck off. Secondly that's just rude lol a simple "it's not something we would be interested in investing in" would have done the job just fine lol. As the crowd cheered yeezy smiled and said "do you know how HARD it was to do this mayn Y'all are sounding like this was easy ...I got told FUCK OFF and I've done it! This is major" the crowd went even wilder!
AIB LESSON ALERT
I think the lesson in all of this is the fact Kanye west - KANYE WEST- still gets rejected by people and told his ideas are terrible, but he still gets it done and highlights the fact rejection never stops no matter how successful you are. As long as you are growing you will face rejection - when you get rejected it shows you are constantly growing. -Aspire Inspire Become -
KARDASHIANS/JENNERS
Of course where there is Kanye there is Kim and where there is Kim there is the rest of the infamous kardashian/Jenner Klan including North West! Unfortunately we didn’t get to see baby Saint but it was defiantly not the appropriate place for his debut to the world (hopefully it won’t too much longer!). However, we did see all of their AMAZING customised outfits –The Yeezy/Balmain collaboration! The diamonds were unreal, the outfits fit their bodies perfectly down to the last stitch, they must have all been pretty comfortable because they were all up dancing and moving around. Even Caitlyn Jenner was seen in her off white gown keeping with the nude coloured theme with matching fur.
Kim was seen rocking the peroxide blonde locks- however we definitely think it was a wig- alongside Khloe with her Amazing blonde extensions.
Kylie made sure she let us see the show up close and personal through her snapchat lens- thanks Ky!
Kourtney (my personal fav) looked fab in her jumpsuit and I must say I’m glad she has her life back now after all the SD drama… she seems to be living it up as much as possible and being the best mother she possibly can to her 3 babies! You go kourt!
Kendall well she’s always stunning its literally her job and Kris was just looking like the hot mumma bear that she is 60 years of age and looks better than me age 22 LOL!
THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM – LAMAR ODOM
Honestly I don’t even know what to say on this topic! I can’t answer why he was there.. I can only suggest he and Khloe are giving it another go, however my bet is Khloe will make a public statement saying she will always love Lamar and be there for him whenever he needs her but they are just focusing on helping him leading a happy life and whatever happens ,happens- let go and let God! I mean I don’t know, when you love someone as much as she loved Lamar, it doesn’t die so easily and it’s not a surprise she doesn’t ever move on properly with the amount of media attention, major setbacks with his health and refusing to sign divorce papers. With this being said when they were good they were really good. We all watched them on their spin off series Khloe and Lamar all over each other, Lamar acting like the guy every girl dreams of one day marrying…. Until… it all went horribly wrong. Sigh! I know it makes me sad talking about it too! One thing I will say is I wish Lamar all the best and I hope he has a full recovery and is the man we once fell in love with over our TV screens, for himself of course but honestly for the sake of Khloe whether or not they get back together I don’t know, but as long as he is happy she can move on with her life to the fullest. You deserve it Khlo!
MUSIC
The Much anticipated Album – The Life Of Pablo!
I know we didn’t guess it either.. I suggested The Love Of Praise .. I mean he did say gospel album so it was an educated guess! Ok I know.. whatever. Anyway! Kanye Blessed us by debuting his album at the show and my oh my it shocking to say the least. Let’s start with Highlights. He casually threw a line in about Rob Kardashian and Black Chyna being together quoting “Blac Chyna f--kin’ Rob, helping him with the weight.” I MEAANNN Kanye where is the chill?! This genuinely created a physical reaction inside my body I literally could not even take it… or least that’s what I thought until I heard “I bet me and Ray J would be friends if we didn't like the same bitch / Yeah, he might have hit it first / Only problem is I'm rich" *GASSSSSPPPPSSSSSS* Literally I am FLABBAGASTED- do we laugh? Do we cry? Like what do you want us to do here Kanye? because I’m really not trying to develop a heart problem that is for sure! But I’m also not going to stop listening that is also for sure- urgh! First world health problems!
Famous is the next song that caused an uproar but this time from the Swifties. Yes Taylor Swift’s fans were not too impressed with Kanye’s choice of words in this song. “I feel like me and Taylor might have sex / I made that bitch famous.” Oh Kanye … we’ve been through this already last week, you can’t come after people, their careers and their children for no reason. You had apologised and it had all blown over and now you’ve started up roar again. In true roll safe style- Come on mateeeee. I’m not saying I’m against it or anything but I’m also not saying I’m totally for it, However I AM saying I do enjoy it. I can’t help it ok? I am Human!
Other than the scandal surrounding the lyrics, the Features on the track were also a big topic of conversation; Kirk Franklin helped with the album as well as chance the rapper, Kid Cudi, designer, Rhianna, Frank Ocean( yes he is alive and yes he needs to hurry up and drop this album of his I have lost hope) young thug and Ty Dollar $ign, who are all featured on the album. If you haven’t already Heard it this will confirm how epic it actually is- you understand the first world Health problems now.

Overall the event was Phenomenal! It left us with so much to talk about for the next few weeks as well as a new playlist for everyone to indulge in on their commutes to work I must say I am completely all for this world domination Kanye and Kim are striving for. With her New app, His new Clothing line and Album and their new baby I currently feel like they could be called King and Queen of the world.. too far? Ok well definitely the hottest couple in the game. That’s Beyonce and Jay Z?! ok fine well they are definitely the King and queen of Social Media and technology. That’s unnegotiable. We believe, although they are controversial and some say Kim and her family and talentless, they are still doing the damn thing and evidently do extremely well. So shout out to them! Even as I am writing this Kanye has managed to cause another Internet outrage! Hitting all the haters with straight #FACTS about the album, his choice of words and the permission he got from BOTH Kim and Taylor Swift! So I guess its all ok? Well for now anyway .. there’s always tomorrow!
