What Beyoncé Did Over The Weekend! *Gasps*

This weekend Beyoncé “did a Beyoncé” and dropped new music and video out of nowhere!! As usual this caused a media storm but not only because Queen B did it AGAIN but this times the diva made a statement.

Just like Beyoncé 's 2013 album ‘Beyoncé’ shows Beyoncé as a grown woman who isn't afraid to express herself anyway she wants. Formation tells the world she isn't afraid to tell the world what's exactly on her mind.

The song is undeniably for the haters! Beyoncé "twirls" on these haters calling out many of the people who accuse her of being part of the illuminati. She makes it clear she doesn't care what you think of little Blu Ivy's hair stating "I like my baby heir with baby hair and afros". She doesn't care about what you say about her husband Jay Z nose "I like my negro nose with Jackson Five nostrils"

The whole song is beaming with self-pride "My daddy Alabama, Momma Louisiana You mix that negro with that Creole make a Texas bama" she is proud of being a woman, she is proud of being southern and she is proud of being black. While the song does say something the real message comes from the video. The video features a Plethora of black cultural and political images. While celebrating black femininity and her black history and the issues going on within America today. Beyoncé submerges a cop car in flooded New Orleans waters. A hooded Child dances in front of a line-up of armed police while a graffiti wall reads "stop shooting us" . If the video wasn't enough the very next day Beyoncé stole the show during Sunday night’s half time performance. Gracing the stage with a team of all black dancers- rocking Afros and Black Panther styled outfits which were no accident as 2016 marks the 50th anniversary of the formation of the civil rights group.

All of this has taken many by surprise as Beyoncé doesn't usually vocalise her politics and is sometimes criticised it but here she is a wife, mother and global super star! Telling us she doesn’t have to compromise, hate or be ashamed of who she is, where she comes from and what she stands for! - And quite frankly WE LOVE IT!!
